Wake Up !

In case you do not know it yet, you were never meant to drift through life, numb to your own potential, chasing shadows of someone else’s dream.
You’re here to become, to burn away the lies, rewire your mind, and forge a soul that shines like gold.

The ancient alchemists didn’t just chase metals : they actually mapped the path to transform the human psyche from raw chaos into divine purpose. Their secret? The four stages of psychological alchemy: Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo (more commonly brought into mainstream psychology by Carl Jung)

This isn’t some myth, it’s a pathless path, battle-tested blueprint for shattering your limits, facing your truth, and stepping into the fire of who you’re meant to be.

This is no gentle self-help nonsense. And did they create it ? No, they just understood it, because this is about Universal Law… But only the few care actually about it.

And this is War, war against your fears, your excuses, and the mediocrity that chains you.

The alchemists saw the Soul as a crucible, and you’re the raw material. Will you stay lead, heavy, dull, unformed? Or will you choose the fire, the pain, the glory of becoming gold?

This is the journey of psychological alchemy, and it starts with a choice:
Stop hiding, start transforming.

Let’s take a deeper look at those four stages and unleash the divine consciousness within you.

Stage 1: Nigredo – Face the Abyss or Stay Broken

The first stage is Nigredo, AKA the “blackening.”
Picture a crucible filled with lead, dark, heavy, chaotic. That’s your psyche when you begin: a mess of buried pain, unspoken fears, and the lies you’ve told yourself to survive. Rings a Bell?

Nigredo is the moment you stop running and turn to face the abyss.

It’s the dark night of the soul, where everything you’ve avoided: your failures, your shame, the voice that whispers you’re not enough rise like a tidal wave to drown you.

This isn’t a metaphor, trust me, it’s real.

It’s the moment you lose the job that defined you, the relationship that held you together, or the illusion that you’ve got it all figured out. Yes, this is all part of the plan…

The alchemists called this the decomposition, where the base material, your ego, your masks, break down to reveal the raw truth.

Carl Jung, who saw alchemy as the path to individuation of consciousness (or self-realization) , called this the confrontation with the shadow: the parts of you you’ve locked away, the anger you bury, the regrets you drown in distractions, oh, and the fears, big or small, you still choose to entertain….

Nigredo is ugly.
It’s tears in the dark, sleepless nights, the gut-punch of realizing you’ve been living a lie.

But here’s the truth: you can’t transform what you don’t face.

The divine consciousness, the all-seeing fire of Enoch’s vision, with eyes that pierce through time (1 Enoch 14), is watching.

It sees your chaos, your pain, your potential.
And it demands you choose: stay broken or step into the fire. Free will is awesome no?

Nigredo is about courage and at times, it may well appear like a choice between life and death…

It’s choosing to sit in the darkness, to feel the weight, to let the old self die.

This is where transformation begins, not with comfort (yes I wrote about comfort many times, the universe does not care about your comfort) but with truth.
You’ve got to burn to rebuild.

How to Conquer Nigredo

  • Write the Ugly Truth
Grab a journal and spill it all, every fear, every failure, every secret you’ve buried. No filter, no excuses. Let the page hold your shadow.
  • Face the Pain
Stop numbing with Netflix, alcohol, or hustle. Sit with your emotions, anger, grief, fear, and let them speak. They’re your teachers.
  • Find a Guide
A coach, therapist, or mentor who’s walked this path can light the way. You don’t have to face the abyss alone, but you do have to face it.
  • Choose the Fire
Every day, decide to confront one truth you’ve avoided. Small or big, each choice is a spark that ignites the crucible.

Stage 2: Albedo – Purify Your Soul, Reclaim Your Light

From the ashes of Nigredo rises Albedo, the “whitening.”
The crucible glows silver now, as the chaos begins to clear.

Albedo is the purification of your psyche, a washing away of the grime that’s kept you stuck.

This isn’t about erasing your past; it’s about understanding it, forgiving it, and letting it go.

Imagine standing under a waterfall of light, cleansing the wounds of Nigredo, revealing the spark of divinity within you.

Psychologically, Albedo is the stage of integration.

You’ve faced your shadow, now you learn to love it.
Not by indulging it, but by seeing it for what it is:
A part of you, not the whole.

This is where you uncover the patterns that sabotage you, why you push people away, why you fear success, why you cling to control.

Albedo is the dawn after the dark night, where clarity emerges like a blade cutting through fog.

Jung saw Albedo as the connection to the anima or animus, the inner feminine or masculine that balances your psyche.

It’s a softening, a not so subtle return to necessary purity
You forgive yourself for the mistakes you made in ignorance, this one can be tough at times…
You forgive others for the pain they caused. And maybe starting there will help you forgive yourself then.
You let go of the stories that no longer serve you.

Albedo isn’t passive.
It’s a choice to heal, to release, to rebuild.

How to Master Albedo

  • Practice Radical Self-Compassion
Look in the mirror and say, “I am enough.” Mean it. Replace self-criticism with love, one thought at a time. I generally don’t like the claim of being enough because we can always be better. But by mastering radical self-acceptance and wholeness the “enough” will become a natural growth and expansion process without having to think about it.
  • Uncover Patterns
Meditate, journal, or talk to a coach to identify the beliefs driving your actions. Ask, “Why do I keep doing this?” Then rewrite the story.
  • Release the Past
Visualize your grudges or regrets as weights. Cut them loose. Burn them in the crucible of your will.
  • Choose Clarity
Every day, make one choice that aligns with your truth, say no to toxic habits, yes to healing, yes to growth.

Stage 3: Citrinitas – Awaken to the Divine Within

The crucible now blazes golden.
Citrinitas, the “yellowing,” is the stage of illumination.

This isn’t just about you anymore, it’s about seeing yourself as a spark in the vast fire of universal consciousness, which in Truth is what you are.

The alchemists called this the “solar light,” where the soul aligns with its divine purpose.

Picture the sun rising in your chest, flooding your mind with wisdom, connecting you to the infinite.

Jung saw it as the ego aligning with the Self—the archetype of wholeness that connects you to the divine.

You’re not just healing now; you’re creating.
You’re not just surviving; you’re thriving.

How to Embody Citrinitas

  • Seek Ancient Wisdom
Dive into texts like the Tao Te Ching, the Zohar, or the Upanishads. Let their truths spark your own.
  • Define Your Purpose
Ask, “What am I here to create?” Write it down. Let it guide every decision.
  • Notice the Signs
Synchronicities, meaningful coincidences, are the universe whispering. Pay attention. Act on them.
  • Choose the Greater Good
Make one choice daily that serves others, a kind word, a bold idea, a step toward impact.

Stage 4: Rubedo – Become the Gold You Were Born to Be

The crucible erupts in crimson fire.
Rubedo, the “reddening,” is the final stage, and here comes the completion of your transformation.

Your soul is no longer lead, no longer silver, no longer gold-in-progress.
It’s gold: radiant, whole, alive with passion and purpose.

Rubedo is the courage to say, “This is who I am,” and to act on it, no matter the cost.

You embrace your light and your darkness, your human flaws and your divine potential.
You love fiercely, create boldly, and live with unapologetic authenticity.

How to Live Rubedo

  • Act with Authenticity
Every choice (big or small) must reflect your true self. No masks, no compromises.
  • Create Relentlessly
Write, build, serve, inspire. Use your gifts to leave a mark that echoes beyond your life.
  • Love Fiercely
Open your heart to others, to the world, to the divine. Love is the fire that fuels your gold.
  • Choose Every Day
Wake up and decide: “Today, I am gold.” Let that choice shape your thoughts, words, and actions.

The Power of Choice: You Are the Alchemist

Psychological alchemy isn’t a passive journey, it’s a battle you choose to fight.

In Nigredo, you face the abyss.
In Albedo, you choose to heal.

Every stage is a decision to align with the divine consciousness.
