My Journey as a Spiritual Awakening Coach

For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, helping them navigate the often tumultuous journey of spiritual awakening. I’ve guided individuals but across three continents, each one on their own unique path of transformation, and yet all united by the shared desire to understand the deeper truths of their existence.

Spiritual awakening is a deeply personal and sometimes overwhelming experience. It’s that moment when the world you thought you knew suddenly shifts, and you begin to see through the illusions you once took for granted. It’s an unraveling of the old self, an awakening to the deeper connection between your soul and the universe. But as profound and beautiful as this experience can be, it’s often accompanied by intense emotional challenges, and that’s where my work comes in.

What is a Spiritual Awakening?

If you are going through it, you probably know what it is by now. A spiritual awakening is the process of coming into greater awareness of your true nature, beyond the ego, beyond the mind, and beyond the conditioning imposed by society and upbringing. It’s a profound shift in consciousness, one that allows you to recognize the oneness of all things and your own role in that greater whole. But it’s also a process that can be confusing, even frightening at times. You’re forced to question everything—your beliefs, your relationships, and even your identity.

Over the years, I’ve seen that people often feel isolated during this process. They ask, “Why is this happening to me? Why does it hurt so much?” These are the moments when dark nights of the soul and shadow work come to the forefront.

Navigating the Dark Night of the Soul

The dark night of the soul is something many experience during their awakening, and it’s one of the most challenging aspects of the journey. It’s a period of profound inner darkness where old patterns, wounds, and limiting beliefs rise to the surface. Everything you’ve pushed down or ignored demands your attention.

I’ve walked this road with many of my clients, helping them not only survive but embrace this period as a necessary part of their awakening. It’s during these moments that the ego begins to dissolve, and while that can feel like loss or despair, it’s really a shedding of everything that no longer serves you.

As someone who has lived and worked in diverse environments across continents, I’ve had the honor of helping people from different cultures understand that the dark night of the soul is a universal experience, one that transcends background or upbringing. It’s the soul’s way of clearing the debris, making room for the light that is to come, a deep and necessary purification that can leave us shattered in pieces if we do not remember our wholeness.

Shadow Work: Embracing the Parts of Yourself You’ve Denied

Hand in hand with the dark night of the soul is shadow work. The shadow represents the parts of ourselves we’ve denied, the aspects we’ve rejected or repressed because they were deemed unacceptable by society, family, or even by our own standards.

In my sessions, whether in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or across the globe, I gently guide people into this often uncomfortable territory. Shadow work is not about battling or suppressing these aspects of yourself. It’s about embracing them with compassion. Only when you shine a light on the shadow can true integration and healing occur.

I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of shadow work. People who once feared confronting their inner darkness have come out the other side with a newfound sense of wholeness. It’s as if the very thing they were avoiding was the key to their liberation all along.

What I’ve learned over the last 15 years is that no two spiritual awakenings are alike, yet they all share common threads of self-discovery, discomfort, and ultimately, empowerment. My role as a guide is to provide a safe, compassionate space for you to explore these changes, to help you understand that you’re not alone in this process, and to equip you with the tools needed to integrate this new level of consciousness into your daily life, tools that i have learned in several countries and even got me into jungles and monasteries…

Working with clients across three continents has deepened my understanding of how spirituality transcends cultural boundaries. Whether I’m working with someone in the heart of Dubai or Abu Dhabi, or coaching a client remotely in another part of the world, the awakening process remains a profound human experience. The beauty of this work is seeing someone reclaim their true self after years of living by societal conditioning or personal limitations.

I guide my clients to not just endure their awakening but to celebrate it as a return to their authentic self. And yes, the journey can be painful at times, but it’s also where the most profound healing takes place. I help people see the dark night of the soul for what it truly is—a sacred invitation to shed old layers and step into a more aligned, conscious version of themselves.
